Mato und Capoeira, Nutzwald und Urwald

Mit Celestes Bruder gehen wir in den Wald, zum Fluß Abadi hinunter, wo seine Frau mit den Kindern beim Wäschewaschen ist.
Buzio di Mato, eine große Schnecke ist hier eine wichtige Eiweißquelle für die Armen.

Mato ist Nutzwald. Schaut aus wie Wald, hat aber Kaffee, Kakao, Fruchtbäume, Maniok o. Ä. im Unterwuchs!
Capoeira ist der Primärwald, höher oben, mit wenig Einfluß durch den Menschen.
Mato the call the forest where they plant coffe, cocoa, fruit trees, etc. To us it looks like jungle, though.
Capoeira is wild, primary, largely untoutched forest, usually higher up!
