We travelled from The Gambia overland to Senegal, crossing the big river on the bridge at Farafenni.
At the border we met Mbodj, or Senegalese friend and driver who took us to the luxury hotel at the coast
La Somone. What a change, after the camps in The Gambia! Eva and I spent two times 4 nights there. It is here that we welcome our guests (the "Africa Shock" comes later!) and say goodbye to those who fly home.
