Colin Cross is running a Bird Observatory and ringing station near Kartong. We were warmly welcomed and met the members of a ringing expedition. They were staying at LEMONFISH, an art gallery!

A walk along Tanji River produced another Blue-breasted and a Malachite Kingfisher!
We left the Gambia just as we had entered it: overland and riding on the shoulders of boatmen!
